Delete Your Account - In Bharat
If you wish to delete your account and associated data from the In Bharat app, please follow the steps below.
How to Delete Your Account
Step 1: Open the In Bharat app on your device
Step 2: Navigate to Settings (usually found in your profile menu)
Step 3: Select "Delete Account" or "Account Settings"
Step 4: Confirm your decision to permanently delete your account
Step 5: Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted
⚠️ Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be reversed. Please ensure you want to proceed before confirming.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your user account and profile information
- All social media posts and uploaded images
- Chat messages and conversations
- Notifications
- Product listings and associated images
- Matrimony profile and related data
- Planner, Decorator, Caterer, Venue, or Vendor profiles (if applicable)
- Temple shop and Pandit profiles (if applicable)
- Profile images and uploaded media
Data Retention
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. However, some data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.
